Because indoor street art exhibitions are mostly pretty boring, Lazarides Gallery has secured a number of London locations for a simultaneous outdoor show. Unlike last year’s New York exhibit, where outdoor advertising firm Colossal Media painted Banksy’s ads, the artists actually created and installed their own public art promotions.
On Thursday, the gallery portion of the group show “Grifters” opens at Rathbone Place where more than a dozen street artists, including David Choe, Faile, Mark Jenkins, Invader and legally-embattled artist Zevs, will unveil four-floors worth of work.
