Openly gay blogger and all around terrible person, Perez Hilton, is not having a good week. After getting caught on tape attacking straight rapper Will.i.am with a hateful slur—”fucking faggot” to be exact—and then subsequently being punished with a black eye and a statement from GLAAD, a petition floating around asking that he be removed as a candidate for the Teen Choice Awards on Fox is starting to gain momentum. He’s currently a nominee for the “Choice Music: Fab-u-lous” and “Choice Web Star” categories, but with about 94,216 more signatures that could all change.

Actually we don't. Your Puritanical leanings are just as terrible as him.
Thank you for your support of my petition regarding Perez Hilton as a nominee on the teen choice awards. Clearly his hateful words, inappropriate and graphic web content is not appropriate for the target audience of this show. Mr. Hilton is free to preach intolerance to whomever he wishes, but kids should not be encouraged to listen. Thanks again, for posting regarding the petition.
Glad we can agree to disagree. I don't believe it puritanical to not want kids directed to a website where, as Perez touts it, they can see uncensored photos of "Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black barebacking it" or see photos of their favorite teen stars with cartoon penises and semen drawn in their mouths – he is free to say or post whatever he chooses but I don't want my kids encouraged to view it on a show that is specifically geared for tweens…c'mon, it's hosted by the Jonas Brothers after all.
