At a glance or from a distance, this David Nordahl oil painting commissioned by Michael Jackson appears innocent enough, but upon closer inspection, the “Study for Field of Dreams” reveals some subtle nightmares. It depicts the King of Pop as a sort of pied piper surrounded by cavorting children dancing, playing, and pulling up skirts? Wait, what? The close-ups also reveal a flirtatious looking MaCaulay Culkin carrying a little girl among some other sinister imagery.
