empirestate.jpgLegal wall painting stencil artist Nick Walker who can best be described as a sort of “Rubbish Banksy,” has yet to create a body of artwork that the city’s inhabitants can be proud of. After strolling through town this past summer to paint as many spots that he could get permission for and later retuning to do a fully sanctioned mural in the East Village a few months later, the artist has continually come up short. Even his fine art is lacking some originality and punch, like this print of the Empire State Building splashed with multicolored drips. If you’re going to pervert our iconic landmarks, can you do us a favor and at least leave our beloved King Kong tower alone? |Artbleat|
