I’m assuming that these are actual paper animal sculptures, not Photoshop creatures, created for this print ad (headline: Save Paper. Save Wildlife.) for India’s WildlifeSOS (Photoshopped ones would be slicker-looking). If so, A LOT of paper was used in this photo shoot. Each animal is made up of many pieces. Plus, what you’re not seeing here is the Serengeti plain-full of dead paper lions and giraffes and hippos in trash cans off-set that didn’t quite look realistic enough for the art director. That all said, I can say this is a pretty simple and effective visual metaphor for “don’t trash the planet, you soulless, clueless cube farm-dwelling primate.” So, since it’s Friday, and since it’s too late to save motherfucking Earth anyway, I’ll give the ad a *ROAR* of approval. Now let’s all go eat our young. |Image: pixelblog|

That looks like a fun thing to do at work. I could use sheets from the recycled pile, right? I going to make 500 goats and 300 llamas until the bell rings.
