New York City’s financially busted museums and art programs are trying to get more money: fundraising online, selling small exhibit sponsorships, as well as cutting staff and scuttling programming. And artist Peter Coffin is both helping and hurting their cause. His forthcoming book, How to Sneak into a Museum Without Paying is a collection of hand drawn maps and diagrams from contributors instructing art lovers how to dodge admission fees, but also showing museums how to stop non-paying patrons. The author, with the help of Art Fag City, is soliciting new submissions for the creative undertaking.
