“To have this bust in the Met is perfect, it’s addressing that exact issue. They’re talking about kids in there, but there’s naked statues there too. The photos are no more lewd than the statues,” says photographer Zach Hyman by phone about the arrest of his naked muse KC Neill. She was busted for stripping off her clothes at the Metropolitan Museum of Art yesterday while the lensman snapped away. Hyman created a bunch of noise with the opening of his “Decent Exposures” exhibit last week that features photos of nude models in very public places around NYC (pictured above). Although Wednesday’s shoot only lasted 30 seconds or so and the model ended up in police custody, it was a still a success as the image will be included in a group show at the Chair and the Maiden gallery on September 3rd. Video of the guerrilla art in action after the jump.
