Elisabeth Molin explores altered states of mind, shooting photographs that offer an imaginative perspective on real life. Her upcoming exhibition sees a bronze lion chew a bloody bone as a dead soldier lays at the foot of a war memorial. Seeking “the humorous, the surreal and the paradoxical in reality,” the London-based photographer opens “Gaps,” at Chelsea’s AC Institute tomorrow.

“Gaps,” December 10 – January 23, AC Institute, 547 West 27th Street, 5th Floor
