The second edition of Amani Olu’s curator-driven group show opens later this week at P.P.O.W. Gallery in Chelsea. “Young Curators, New Ideas II,†features seven “micro-exhibitions†from Karen Archey, Cecilia Jurado, Megha Ralapati, Jose Ruiz, Nico Wheadon, Cleopatra’s, and Women in Photography, exploring the curatorial experience through selections including sparkler drawings, a lost glove collection, a terrified baby, and a curator’s portrait of a curator, among others. The show opens from 6 to 8 PM on August 6th through 28th at 511 West 25th Street, Room 301.
