Legendary graffiti artist REVS recently installed a new sculpture on Water Street in DUMBO. Nearby another mural and sculpture, the new sculpture replaces a previous metal work, one of many pieces that disappeared off the street in a short period after the Times interview with the reclusive artist in 2005. As noted by photographer Jake Dobkin, there are “at least 11 bolts holding this one down, plus whatever else he’s hidden,” so the new piece is a bit more secure.
