Bad relationships, I’ve had a few. As have most people. Sometimes, after those bad relationships crumble and fall, some people set out to seek revenge against their exes to ease the pain of the breakup. Or something. Sometimes, these attempts at revenge can border on the extreme. I know one herpes-infected girl who used a controlled substance to seduce an ex into unprotected sex during one of her breakouts just so she could pass her herpes on to him (And no, I wasn’t the guy!). But eating a exes’ pets? That’s just wrong.

Now granted, it’s only goldfish, but still!

Authorities say a Houston-area woman who was burned up at her former common-law husband fried their pet goldfish and ate some of them. Pasadena police say it’s a civil matter and no charges will be filed. The seven goldfish were purchased together by the couple during happier times.

Also, why did it come as no surprise to me to find the term “common-law husband” included in this report?
