I've been scammed by these guys before. They are very intimidating and I have seen them do it within view of the cops. I'm sorry for the guy's family that he died, but if you play the game and draw a gun, you're asking for it.
“Shannon Maggio, 32, a visitor from New Orleans, was on the 16th floor of the nearby Edison Hotel in a room facing the Marriott, with both windows open, when she heard yelling, and then an eruption of gunfire.”
I think I’ve finally figured it out. The cajuns are the greys and they’re hiding out in NYC.
Aggressive Panhandling, verb–To accost bystanders with a MAC-10 asking for money. JEEEEZUS!

The MAC-10 always jams. If he had a MAC-11 there would be a bagpipe parade today.
He was right, he didn’t get hauled off in the”Paddy Wagon.” But the CD hustler was a better writer than the Times hacks that hammered out the piece.
