Midwest Flooding Spy Plane

When it comes to fighting terrorists and executing other rah-rah military operations in foreign countries, thousands of miles away, most Americans are likely appreciative of the CIA and military’s collection of human-hunting unmanned aerial vehicles. But how about when these drones are flying over U.S. territory conducting “surveillance operations” in upstate New York? As recent as June 25th, Customs and Border Protection announced mission accomplished as one of their Predator Bs—the ones used to kill people—flew along the Canadian border “to perform law enforcement operations.”

The marathon flight lasted more than 20 hours, a “milestone” for the border protecting agency. Currently they have six Predators, but hope to expand their program. It’s only a matter of time before the NYPD manufactures a need for one of these drones and adopts yet another surveillance idea from CBP.
