Though many laud Twitter as a vital lifeline for Iranian early adopters, it’s by no means critical to all revolutionaries. Some, like Lydia Guevara, are abandoning the 140-character messaging service altogether. After gaining dozens of new followers after news of her semi-nude PETA ad campaign broke, the granddaughter of Cuban revolutionary leader Che Guevara has gone silent and deleted her Twitter account. But don’t put your fists down just yet, her personal blog is still breathing so there’s hope that her vegetarian revolution will live on.
