
At first, I thought these cutaway dead animals were some sort of taxidermy ashtrays—the perfect gift for the cigarette-smoking hunter in your life! But no, they’re artwork for an anti-littering campaign. The bunny copy starts: “Cigarette filters are commonly mistaken as food by many animals…” The tagline “What goes around, comes around” refers to the fact that us humans—smokers and non-smokers alike—who eat rabbit (or chicken or fish, see after the jump), are subsequently consuming the toxins (and urine) in our butts. Take that, food chain proponents! Smokers, you should just start eating your butts. You’d be helping to save the planet, while at the same time making it more difficult for ad agencies to construct 15,000-butt billboards. Jump for two more images from this grisly campaign.
