Banksy Places Osama Just Outside Salt Lake City
Moving away from the streets of Park City and Salt Lake City, a new piece by Banksy featuring America’s favorite terrorist popped up in the very natural surroundings of City Creek—for the record, Mormons gotta chill with using “City” in every location name. Also, good luck trying to cut this one out and sell it. Far away shot below.

Are you familiar with the place?
For those not familiar with City Creek, it was the original water source the mormon pioneers tapped to change this high desert climate into the city you see today. The canyon is paved for another 4.5 miles beyond this point. Where Banksy put that piece is appropriate. The hills above SLC were the hiding place for Brian David Mitchell after he kidnapped Elizabeth Smart. It took nine months to find her even though she was right here.
The bridge that is painted underneath has been tagged many times in the past. And that canyon has other bullshit locally sourced doodles. This piece is a nice addition. And, it is less than two miles from downtown SLC. The term woods can only be applied VERY loosely.
OK well maybe thats not a beautiful forest or whatever, but painting trails in the woods is lame anyway and political street art is even worse.
