The New York Times went foraging for maple syrup and found some, in Brooklyn! It was a lot easier than expected and according to one expert, there’s plenty of maple trees producing syrup “all winter long” and more than enough to provide for a thriving industry with the right entrepreneurial spirit: “If someone did it on a commercial scale they could make a fortune.” |TheLocal|
