It’s yet another global warming polar bear snuff film!—though not as gory as the last one. I wonder, can polar bears drown? Apparently, yes! Anyway, the video is by Greenpeace Germany, agency unknown. Rough copy translation: “In 30 years, the Arctic will be ice-free in the summer. The climate needs you.” I’d like to see the source for that statement. Here’s the accompanying website. Creatively, I like the simplicity of the spot; it’s got that AHA! moment that gets ad people hard. But the fake dead bear looks a little too fake.
