Billion Dollar U.S. Embassy Looks Like A Giant Apple Store
You almost can’t blame the America-hating Brits for criticizing the newly unveiled designs for a billion dollar U.S. Embassy in London. The 12-story glass stump of a building with a medieval-like moat on one side has been described as a “fortress” and a design adviser to the UK government (they have those?) said it lacks civility. |Guardian|

"The new US embassy to the Court of St James's has been designed, says the US state department, to "reflect the values of the American people". Really? I think making a "Gerkin" sized fuckhole in the spot would a more accurate representation of "the values of the American people." a fucking cube with a little lake…er mote? ugh. America has some great talent but somehow we never use it when it comes to building shit like this.

Who are we the borg?
We shoulda made that shit in the shape of Sam Adams
Wasting an enormous amount of money on something out of Wired Magazine when we're way in debt already…yep that sounds like typical American values.
America should just change its name to "Confessions of a Shopaholic: the Country."
Gosh, our castle in England has to have a moat, in case a Saxon raiding party comes by.
