Newt Gingrich Makes an Ass of Himself on the Daily Show
Did you see former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on the Daily Show last night? He was talking tough on terrorism, of course, because they’re the experts on talking tough on terrorism, damnit!

In the course of the interview, Gingrich blasted the Obama administration for allowing Miranda rights to be read to the crotch-bomber when the plane landed in Detroit on Christmas day, noting that the same thing was done under Bush for Richard Reid, the shoe bomber, only because he was an American citizen and was guaranteed that right under the Constitution. Wrong! He was a slimy Brit, a “furoner” just like the African who lit his boudin and butterbeans on fire!
Additionally, John Oliver had a hilarious skit on budget conscious conservatives in Hawaii.
