Snooki Booed at Philadelphia Chicken Wing Eating Contest

Apparently every year around 20,000 Philadelphians with nothing better to do on the Friday morning before the Super Bowl gather in an arena to watch a bunch of dudes compete in a chicken wing-eating competition (Who knew?!). Anyway, they call this spectacle the “Wing Bowl” and this year the organizers of the event invited Snooki from Jersey Shore as a special guest, which didn’t go over well with the locals for some reason.
Reports Fox Philly:
Snooki was booed heavily every time her image was shown on a giant TV screen at the Wachovia Center.
According to people at the Wing Bowl, Snooki reacted with a Jersey-style hand salute.
Several fans interviewed by Frederick said they resented Polizzi’s presence at the event.
“I am happy to get Snooki off TV,” said one annoyed fan.
The crowd also momentarily stopped booing when Snooki road a mechanical bull as part of the event.
Keep in mind, it was in Philly that Santa Claus was once booed and pelted with snowballs at a football game, so Snooki’s in good company. Besides, she got paid $10,000 to attend, so don’t feel sorry for the little Guido poof-potato for a second. You can watch video of Snooki being booed here.

Oh Fox News… (yes I realize this is a local affiliate, but damnit I'm entitled to milk as much as I can out of Fox News being an all-around fuck-up)
These people do know they are on a freak show right? People who have never been to NY/NJ don't believe people like this actually exist.
I have had the unfortunate opportunity to spend some time in the area and I have seen it all. The spray tans, the mouse, the white ebonics, the matching track suits and the half bottle of Drakkar Noir to go to a diner for breakfast.
They probably don't care if they are on a freak show now that they are making big money but they shouldn't confuse themselves with movie stars. We are laughing at them not with them.
The Santa Claus booing happened in the 60s. Nice to know you're a lazy hack who couldn't think of anything better to write.
@Joe…What does that have to do with anything? It happened in Philly, didn't it? It's not like it happened in Scranton or something.
You just wish someone would pay you 10 thou a night for showing up and being dumb. You are so jealous, have you ever realized you can't stop talking about these kids. All the put downs just show your desperation, get over it.
