9/11 Tree Battered Once Again
The lone tree to survive the 9/11 attacks suffered some major damage from this past weekend’s storm after getting knocked over, but is expected to make a full recovery. The callery pear was only steps from the WTC in 2001 and was subsequently transplanted to Van Cortland Park, where it has enjoyed a relatively carefree existence. |City Room|
