MTA Scraps Graphic Design Overhaul

dont_hold_the_doors The cash-strapped MTA says it won’t move ahead with a plan to revamp all of its pictograms due to budget shortfalls. Instead, the transit agency will give the old icons a facelift, although it will use new ones during major renovations. For now, straphangers will have to rely on the current graphics to guide them safely through the system. |NYP|

    what they really need to redesign is the typeface used on the "stand clear of closing doors" labels. has anyone else noticed that all the "o's" look like sideways zeros?
