Snowball Could Land Bronx Men In Jail

*Mar 08 - 00:05* A group of young men from the Bronx could face a year in jail for criminal possession of a weapon after a stray snowball hit an off-duty transit cop in the leg while they were messing around last month. The officer drew his gun, called in for backup and they were arrested. They plan on suing the city for wrongful arrest, and one of the men explained just how humiliating the street-cred threatening experience was:

“When I was in Central Booking, people asked me what I was locked up for, and I said a snowball,” said Johnathan Rodriguez, 22. “Everyone started laughing.

Why is an off duty transit cop carrying a gun in the first place? " OFFICER DOWN…I'VE BEEN HIT!!!"

I don't know how. I was never taught this by anyone. I never read it….but I somehow just know NOT to throw snowballs at cops. I just get that feeling that says…"maybe throw that the other way sparky."

If you don't get that feeling. If you think that it will all go down smooth after, then I vote that ya be locked up. You are missing a vital part of the connection in the brain that says "don't do that". We need you to have that, in order to walk around and take trains with us. Sorry.
