Bushwick City Farm Needs Your Help

Bushwick_City_Farm

It’s not much of a farm, but that could all change with your help. Located a few steps from the Myrtle Avenue J/M stop is Bushwick City Farm. They’re looking for money, but will gladly accept labor too. So pitch in, even if just to play with the bunnies.

Yeah great. Here's some money for a park that only you have the key to. Fuck off and die.

Bushwick city farm is open to the entire community sat. and sun. 12:30 – 6pm. ALL food produced at the farm is FREE to the community, also the farm provides daily free bread to the community (all donated from local bakeries) and free clothes and organic produce every sunday (also donated locally)! The farm used to be a dump untill it was reclaimed by the community, it is not a non profit and gets no funding or grants, all work is done by volunteers and materials are dumpstered. This is not your typical elitist hipster garden. Check it out at bushwickcityfarm.wordpress.com

Wonderful job!!!! You all (volunteers) created a fantastic farm that will contribute to the community in many ways. It is so nice to walk through Broadway street and see chickens and flowers instead of seeing a contaminated environment. A++ for all ….. I will try to go next Sunday to help and contribute with the farm that will make a hugeeeee impact in Brooklyn.
