Mexicans Have a Much Better Chance at Becoming American As Canadians
As I’m sure you’ve heard, yesterday a federal judge punched racism in the gut, and made it so that a Mexican in Arizona won’t be treated like a Jew in Warsaw, circa 1942. So now that an immigrant (legal or otherwise) can stay here with slightly less fear, can we ask why it’s so difficult for them to get over here in the first place? I mean, Canadians don’t have to smuggle themselves in the trunks of cars, do they?
In search of a quick story, and my green card, I discovered a few interesting things. Say you’re a Mexican family that’s so far from the stereotype you actually have money. Say you’d like to take your kids to Disneyland, in California. Are you able to come over from Mexico with only a passport like, say, a Canadian? The answer is no. Mexicans are required to have their visas IN ADDITION TO a passport, and once admitted into the United States, are only granted six months time here.
If they want to come into our fine country, they should be forced to jump through a few hoops, right? I mean, how hard could it really be? Well, for starters, to obtain a travel visa a Mexican must go to an interview, and during that interview must provide proof of travel arrangements, information regarding where they plan on staying, how they are paying for the trip, proof of employment, and their passport. They are also required to fill out a lengthy application form, and pay a peso equivalent of $131 for the processing fee. After all of that, it still doesn’t mean that they’re automatically granted a visa; that’s all done just in hopes of getting one.
At this point, it almost seems like the easier solution for them, would be to obtain Canadian citizenship, and then just come on through to the US that way. At the US/Canada border, guards will check your passport, under little scrutiny, and then open the gates to freedom. Easy as jumping borders should be.
As for Arizona, I suspect that those who disagree with what happened will just take it up with the Minute Men, and all will be well. Before we know it, cops won’t be allowed to commit racial profiling, but some redneck asshole wearing a NASCAR cap, with a can of Skoal in his back pocket, will just shoot them on site.
As a note, my brother’s Mexican, so shut the fuck up.

Good shit Kari.
GUESS THE ANSWER TO ALL THIS IS BUILD A MEXI-DISNEY
Interesting, but Canada and Bermuda are the only places I know of that get this special designation as visa-less boarder countries and that's only if they are not visiting under a specific set of reasons which do require one. Mexico has a specialized America pass too called a Boarder Crossing Card (the last link below) which allows them 10 years of access. There are also many countries in turn were American's need visas. In fact, there are only 36 countries worldwide with which we have 90-day visa waiver agreements and most of them are in Europe. Otherwise, to officially move and be employed elsewhere you need to follow that nation's visa or naturalization law.
Mexicans are not getting different treatment pertaining to obtaining a visa as compared to any other nation who is not part of the visa waiver program.
Mexican access to America is more difficult than Canadian access and I believe the theory here is there isn't near the number of Canadians that want to leave their country for work. Work which in America is taxed either directly, indirectly or both dependent upon your state. So if you work here, live in another nation and do all your purchasing of goods there you are short changing the rest of the American public and hauling our currency out of the country. It's economic protection to have our regulations with Mexico as such.

Actually the U.S. has a cap of 50,000 Mexicans allowed in the U.S. legally per year. Can you imagine 300 million Americans trying to do the "middle-class" thing with only 50,000 Mexicans available? Where would all those white retirees living in Arizona find their dream house? How could college graduates afford organic food? How can republican entrepreneurs keep their offices clean? Yeah, damn those illegals but wait before you go, can you pick up my trash? I'm too lazy and I don't want to miss Jersey Shore on MTV.
You should write a column about how illegal aliens are treated in Mexico. Illegal immigrants in Mexico are treated like garbage. There is nothing wrong in expecting people who want to come to this country do so legally. There is nothing wrong with Americans asking their state legislators in Arizona to pass laws to actually enforce the federal laws against illegal immigration. The 9/11 terrorists overstayed their visas (i.e., they were here ILLEGALLY), obtained other government documents, and committed acts of terror that resulted in the murder of over 3,000 Americans and destruction of hundreds of millions of dollars in property, not to mention the clean up at the WTC site that resulted in more death and disability from Americans cleaning up the mess. Illegal immigrants make up 95% of MS-13 and the 18th Street Gang and other street gangs. Illegal immigrants bring multiple drug resistant tuberculosis with them over the border and other diseases. Illegal immigrants are employed by construction contractors who than under bid legitmate construction contractors for work thus putting more Americans out of work and driving down wages in the construction industry as a whole. When ICE raided meat packing plants in various parts of the country and got rid of the illegal aliens, those jobs than went to Americans and legal green card holders (Hispanic, black, Asian, and white). Now the meat packing plant owners had to pay better wages and have better working conditions. People here in the U.S. illegally have broken the law and should be subject to appropriate enforcement measures.
What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand? What part of GUN BATTLES
on the border do you not understand? What part of NATIONAL PARKS CLOSED, because of criminals using them as a base of operations,do you not understand? Why is it ok to MURDER a rancher on his own property?
No one is going after LEGAL PEOPLE.
Jews were citizens, and targeted by a government just like the one you are trying to establish here!
Stick it up your what ever feels good, you're a Black Panther loving, racist idiot.
If they wanted to travel to Canada the Mexican family would also need a Visa.
Some times its a pain in the ass to read what website owners wrote but this internet site is real user pleasant! .
Is there any way for me to subscribe the site using different ways instead of with RSS? I never see it on my readers whil it is possible to see it on browser.
Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
