Muslim Cab Driver Stabbed for Being Muslim

As the anti-Islamic rhetoric swirling around the country continues to get ratcheted up, we just may have the first victim, in NYC. A taxi driver was attacked Tuesday night after a passenger asked in Arabic if he was Muslim and he answered yes. Michael Enright, 21, then reportedly said, “Consider this a checkpoint,” and proceeded to stab Ahmed Sharif, 43, with a folding knife. He was quickly arrested and is being held without bail. |AP|
