Kanye West Pulls off PR Stunt 140 Characters At a Time
Taking advantage of his people-misunderstand-me image, rap diva Kanye West successfully pulled of a flawless PR coup early Saturday in the form of a two hour mea culpa on Twitter. He waxed poetically on a variety of subjects, from the public’s misconception of him, calling it the “King Kong theory,” to a finale-ready apology for country singer Taylor Swift, one of the two people he’s now following on the microblogging platform.
While many were quick to praise ‘Ye’s newfound humility, what they people probably didn’t know is that he’s in the process of marketing his new album right now and this reflective moment came within hours of him releasing another track: “Devil In a New Dress.” Coincidence? Not…a…chance!

"When something is new and hard and bright, there ought to be something a little better for it than just being safe, since the safe things are just the things that folks have been doing so long they have worn the edges off and there's nothing to the doing of them that leaves a man to say, That was not done before and it cannot be done again."
