Digital artist Kim Asendorf designed a web crawler that started by stealing 100 pixels in 10X10 chunks from 10 websites and set it lose. After nine hours gorging on images and jumping at links, it replicated itself into project 100.000.000 Stolen Pixels, gleaning a million images from a million sites (ANIMAL included!) into chasmic landscapes. It’s sorted in Google Maps-viewable stages. I spy Reddit!
