Anonymous’ 4chan army launched multiple denial-of-service attacks on the businesses that pussied out and cut off WikiLeaks. Amazon was spared, but hacktivists did take down PayPal, Mastercard, and the Swiss bank that froze Julian Assange’s funds. Between the thousand plus sites that are mirroring WikiLeaks, a threatened “poison pill” of additional cables should their founder be prosecuted, and 4chan avengers ready to strike at a moments notice, this can only end in chaos.
