There’s been scattered reports on Twitter of a bomb threat on 7th Avenue in Midtown due to a suspicious package and the area appears to have been evacuated. The NYPD’s bomb squad is responding and there’s even video! More details to follow. Update: Gothamist was inspired by some great photos and did a post. Like the recent scare in Times Square, turns out it was just trash, all is relatively safe again.
