Wall Street Journal Is Still Talking About the “Bike Lobby”

June 17, 2013 | Andy Cush

In an apparent effort to defend itself after Dorothy Rabinowitz’s insane comments about the “all-powerful bike lobby” and the “totalitarians” running the New York City government, the Wall Street Journal published a follow-up video addressing the backlash today. Titled “Yes, There Really Is a Bike Lobby,” the clip features Alex Kazam–a WSJ intern, as far as I can tell–discussing Transportation Alternatives, the sinister group behind such schemes as free valet service at Barclays Center and the push for a bike path on the Verrazano Bridge. To Kazam’s credit, he dials down Rabinowitz’s hellfire-laden rhetoric, offering a (relatively) even-headed breakdown of TA. Take a look above. And if you missed it the first time around, Rabinowitz’s rant for the ages is below.
