With the French prez visiting us, his graceful arm candy announces the Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Foundation’s NYC-Paris art student exchange, starting as soon as this summer, with an American donor’s $2 million to spread over 3 years. Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was just seen blowing kisses and slinking around The Julliard School and New York University looking for underprivileged art students to send to Paris for a year. Those are… interesting places to look for them. |Forbes|

Fair enough at NYU (my alma mater) but at Juilliard (where I currently work) more than 90% qualify for financial aid! Just saying. It isn't all rich kids just because it's a prestigious school– in fact, it's overwhelmingly mostly kids in need!
That's a valid point, actually. Thanks!
and Parsons NYC is discouraging its students from taking a year of at Parsons Paris. Interesting.
Wait, why is Parsons discouraging it's students to go to Parsons Paris? Because I want to go to Parsons and do just that.
