Where’s all the rabbits? That’s what Central Park’s stewards are asking. It’s been four long years since a wild rabbit was spotted and no one seems to know why. While feral cats may have contributed to their decline, the real culprit could be raccoons. They kill rabbits for sport and also carry a parasite that could be wiping out the urban bunnies. |NYDN|

My money is on hawks. Here on Long Island, we always has rabbits on the parkway medians. Since the resurgence of hawks along the road-no more bunnies.
