A judge has temporarily lifted the harsh limits on art vendors in city parks that had them angry, sleeping in the streets and duking it out over the few available spots in Union Square. Apparently, it’s discriminatory against the physically weaker artists. As soon as the artists were exiled, the chess hustlers moved in everywhere (also: exhibitionist foot fetishists). Perhaps the judge thought it would better for the city if the tourists go back to spending money on arts & craps?
