The Post published its latest hit piece that’s rife with unsubstantiated claims, quotes from irate cops and drivers, and a heaping full of conjecture. The tabloid “reports” on the alleged surge: “There’s been an alarming 16 percent spike in vehicle and bicycle collisions over the past year that investigators blame in large part on rogue cyclists who have turned city streets into demolition derbies.”
Really, investigators from what agency? Which city statistics? And it was mostly the cyclist’s fault? Last I checked, vehicles were responsible for the most amount of accidents.

I'll give up my bike when you pry my cold dead hands off the handlebars.
In the best cases (which means when the car is full of passengers, which in reality never happens, ever.) 95 % of the energy consumed by a motor vehicle is used to move……… the vehicle. In a time of overseas war lead by greedy oil companies, some people have the nerve to call a bicycle rider a threat to the city ?? I mean really people ?
