With reportedly weeks to live, Dennis Hopper just won’t catch a break from the constant misfortune factory that is his marriage. A nasty divorce from that troll has worsened the cancer-stricken actor’s deteriorating health and depleted him financially and mentally. And now, she’s stolen his last valuable assets: paintings.
Hopper claims that his wife stole several works worth $1.5 million, which included Andy Warhol’s portrait of Hopper and art by Banksy. Hopper:
(She) surreptitiously removed from my home very valuable personal property while I was extremely ill, refused to tell me where the property was when I asked her, and then left town.
Duffy responded to Page Six:
I removed my own property. He is making a big deal about me removing things that are legally mine from the house. I have legal letters saying they belong to me.
