Earlier, the perpetually-doomed nation of Haiti was hit by a huge earthquake measuring 7.0 just outside the heavily populated city of Port-au-Prince. There’s reportedly widespread damage across the island and Twitter has quickly sprung into action, providing info about donating money and up to the minute news updates.
