Getting rid of token booth clerks and replacing them with vending machines is one thing and I might even co-sign a robo L train, but it’s hard to even fathom a future where airplanes fly themselves. Not for the Federal Aviation Administration. As part of their frightening NextGen program, they’re toying around with the possibilities of unmanned commercial aircraft. |PopSci|

Well, if we had the technology in 2001 to fly those remote controlled planes into the WTC with perfect precision, then maybe it's not such a terrifying concept.. oh wait, um, forget it.
