A bootleg of Banksy’s ‘Guard On Duty’ piece in Los Angeles that gallerist Doug Christmas removed and said he’s giving back to the street artist recently sold on eBay for $15,778.93. The piece has since been removed by the auction site, saving one sucker with lots of money from buying a very fake piece of art. UPDATE: A tipster tells us the person did buy it, then eBay removed it. Ouch!

ha!
Doug Xmas will never return this piece. He stole $150,000 from an artist friend of mine not long ago. That money would have really changed her life. Jennifer Kellen (beard) and Xmas are criminals that live among us. Xmas has now proven, once again that he should be removed from the art world.
true that Jennifer Kellen is the mastermind of this theft. She talked Christmas out of giving it back to the artist.
I saw this post on ebay. it looked hella real! and from an artist friend who knew some important people said it was legit. that is not the image that was on the ebay post. wateva!
who cares it sold. it was real, get over it. his street works dont do well at auction houses anyways. Only till hes dead when they are worth something.
