Funeral Home Minivan, Corpse Towed

The NYPD towed an illegally parked minivan in front of a Manhattan funeral home that happened to have a body in the back. The deceased was in a white cardboard box and scheduled to be flown out of state for cremation. The funeral home director was able to recover the body a few hours later from a West Side Highway tow yard where officials decided to waive the $185 fee. |NYDN|
