Can the Vatican please move forward and abolish their pagan-based, celibacy requirement for priests so they’ll stop molesting little boys already? There’s nothing Jewish, Christian, or remotely Jesus-y about it and with the latest child sex abuse scandal to rock the Catholic Church in Germany, it might be something they seriously start considering as hundreds of victims are now coming forward.
This incident is particularly troubling for the papacy, because it has direct links to Pope Benedict and his brother (pictured). Apparently, in the 1980s, they both presided over a monastery and convicted pedophile priest who was transferred after he was caught touching boys and then allowed to work with kids again. Now, once again, he’s one of the central figures in this latest case, which not only only makes the Catholic Church look bad, but evil too.

A lot of people become priests because they are around little boys so they can molest them also
Why do you say celibacy is Pagan based?? All the Pagan traditions I know say to honor the gift of pleasure, not deny it!
@JenNIFER: I like this theory: "Originally, the Galla cut of their genitals, so they could no longer perform sex acts as men. This did not preclude them from having sex -quite the opposite, it opened the door for sacred homosexual acts where there Galla were sodomized during various ritual and celebrations. Such homosexuality was considered so sacred that the promotion of homosexuality outside of a religious context was frowned upon by the priests and supporters of Cybele. Open homosexuality was considered an afront to its sacred and ancient nature. This policy has continued today with the Roman Catholic Church strongly against open homosexuality, while sacred homosexuality between its clergy remains as strong as it has been since the days of the Galla." http://one-evil.org/acts_ritual/ritual_celibate_c…
LOL!
Wow… Hadn't heard that one… I like their theory of why homosexuality is forbidden.
Though I have to admit my hesitance to take this at face value with the reversed pentagram as their logo…
Here’s something a little more academic: http://www.salem-news.com/articles/february132010/catholic_part3.php Point being, it’s in no way a doctrine of Christ.
Who are the Galla? Sounds like yet more anti-pagan propaganda from the Big Three religions.
