Snake-celtic Today, people all across the world, ceremoniously drank and paid homage to St. Patrick, the popular Catholic figure whose credited with chasing the snakes—aka the pagans—out of Ireland, while others celebrated the snakes. Choosing to recognize the traditional Druids that were persecuted if they didn’t convert, many pagans have embraced March 17th as “All Snakes Day,” which one denier-of-Christ describes as “the day the Druids tricked St. Patrick into thinking the snakes had been banished.”
