If Walmart does make its way into Brooklyn, this time-lapse video offers a glimpse of what to expect. It was shot by photographer Stephen Wilkes for Fortune magazine’s May issue at the mega-retailer’s store in New Brunswick, NJ.

To create it, he took a photo every 10 seconds for 24 hours and then edited it down to 2 minutes. Photo editor Lauren Winfield explains the casino-like nature of the operation: “The inspiration was to show that Walmart never sleeps… open 24 hours with no real daylight, you have no sense of what time of day it is.”
