Ever since their brutal attack on a humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza, Israel’s government press office has been in spin mode. In addition to demonizing protesters with doctored photos and disinformation, they also released a music video to reporters mocking the incident. Ha, funny right?
NO! They’ve since apologized for the “We Are the World” parody, claiming: “The contents of the video in no way represent the official policy of either the Government Press Office or of the State of Israel.”

I'm sure after this video people are gonna have more respect for Israel, way to go!
Free Palestine!
"humanitarian" – !? Yeah, right… If they had humanitarian goals, they'd have sent the aid to Gaza through the normal routes. But they didn't, because they didn't care if the aid ever got there or not. That wasn't their goal.
Let me know when a member of Hamas apologizes for murdering homosexual Palestinians, taking hostages, threatening newspaper editors who disagree with them, and destroying any semblance of a middle class.
"Free Palestine" indeed.
Bucky – Clearly this is your blog to do with what you want, but if you're covering the Middle East — clearly a topic people (including myself) are pretty polarized and passionate about — it seems to me that it would make sense to cover several perspectives, instead of as you've been doing lately, just bashing Israel. For example, you said you believe there's a humanitarian issue in Gaza, and maybe there is. But did you know that since the flotilla attempted to break the Israeli blockade, Hamas has actually been blocking humanitarian supplies from being transferred from Israel into Gaza (which would lead one to assume that either there isn't a humanitarian issue or that Hamas, the ruling governing body of the Gaza strip, is a direct cause). Pretty ridiculous considering people are claiming that Israel is an impediment to aid (particularly when it transfers tons and tons and tons of aid to Gaza each week; or at least apparently when Hamas deems it appropriate). Now I'm not saying that you have to cover every story, but at least try to look at each one a few different ways.
Well, what do you expect of a people who mandate the removal of all foreskins?
At least it's not as bad as those t-shirts Israelis made within an image of a target on a pregnant Palestinian woman and the caption "one shot two kills".

You stay classy, Israel.
I'm Israeli and I certainly don't appologize for the video – and I highly doubt the majority of the country would appologize for it. Anyone who actually believes that the people on the flotilla were peace activists need to get their eyes checked and their drivers liscence removed. Most people have no idea of the very complicated issues that take place in Gaza and how Hamas terrorizes, manipulates, lies and takes advantage of the Palestinians that they are supposedly protecting.
And as far as squirrelsome's ridiculous, anti-semetic and ignorant comment about the removal of foreskins, it is clear that you are uneducated and clearly should not be voicing your comment in public forums, at least not until you read some more about the material you are ranting about, because Muslims also remover their foreskins – except for instead of doing it when they are only a few days old, they do it at the age of 13.
Right, cause Israelis are so peaceful. Gimme a break. All of you in the Middle East are screwed up and way too damn religionized and nationalistic.
Good day! I simply wish to give a huge thumbs up for the great info you could have here on this post. I will likely be coming again to your weblog for more soon.
