Lady Gaga attended the MoMa earlier today, but according to sources inside, she did not sit down with artist Marina Abramović for an emotional stare down. Gaga reportedly arrived around noon and was out within the hour. Maybe if she wasn’t equipped with a recognizable “bug clown” ensemble, she could have done something other than wander around the atrium in crazy shoes (these). But that would be ridiculous, right? UPDATE: She was escorted by MoMA director Klaus Biesenbach and artist Terence Koh. And no, Biesenbach doesn’t think she isn’t an artist anymore.

Maybe it's just me, and the fact that I'd rather hear about what celebrities DID do instead of what they DIDN'T, but I find it much more significant/interesting that she was visiting the museum along side Klaus Biesenbach and Terence Koh than the fact that just like pretty much everyone who visits the show she chose not to sit with the artist. Just thought I'd point that out since you seemed to miss the most significant part of the image you posted in the rest of the entry…
@Lux Right! I forgot to mention that. Guess she's over being shut down by Biesenbach, now that he's personally escorting her through his domain. http://animalnewyork.com/2010/04/biesenbach-to-ga… I dread the thought of a Gaga Abramović "homage" coming on, but it's kind of inevitable at this point. Doom.
Fuck lady gaga!
Lady Gaga is smart to have not sat with Marina.
It would have looked like she was trying to rope Marina's fame and artistic finesse onto herself by association – this is what everyone would have been thinking.
Instead, she turns up with her Artist Friend TERENCE and KLAUS. what's more fierce than that?
