Las Vegas may love proffering it’s titillating image and profiting off its sex industry, but there’s apparently little tolerance for artful nudity in Sin City. The Erotic Heritage Museum was recently forced to cover up an outdoor mural claimed to violate “a county sign code that bans (among other things) the showing of the areola of female breasts,” according to the Las Vegas Sun.
Although Museum curator Laura Henkel has stuck pasties over the spraypainted nipples, she claims the painting, part of the Ho-Down Mural Project, is not a sign and needn’t be censored, but the county disagrees, arguing that it’s an ad for the strip club next door. |Las Vegas Sun|

Americans are funny. But not in a funny way. Just sick. Its very flashy, this end to American civilization. And DUMB. Very dumb.
Besides – Americans (and others) cant tell the difference between a THING and a description of a thing i.e. not the thing itself. Like "nipple" is not a nipple. It's a WORD.
These loud and bawdy wall paintings do not have "areola of female breasts" at all, "areola of female breasts" do not exist anywhere in the art. What they have is chalk or paint or something. But no areola or pointy nipples. Just comic representations of those things.
Might even be an abuse of process by those city coppers. What would they know anyway.
