Madonna Louise Ciccone died in a fiery car crash today. Fans gathered and newscasters mourned on TV. People were sad… or were they?
It’s “not a fake.” In the Long Run (2010) is a video project from Italian art collective’s IOCOSE, culled from real archival footage and cheaptastic effects.
It is not a true story, but neither is it improbable. All TV networks prepare obituaries about famous people to put on air in the event of an unexpected death. The death of an international figure is not just predictable, it is actually predicted in the video files kept up to date in their archives.
So, there’s your death of a pop veteran via future media. The Sparks-esque Madonna cover is particularly saucy. See it at “RE:akt! Reconstruction, Re-enactment, Re-reporting,” Oct 21 – Nov 19, Maribor, Slovenia and Nov 5 – Nov 14, HTTP Gallery, London.

It's just a way to reveal the truth about Madonna. The person you think is Madonna is an imposter! She was replaced when the real Madonna died in the early 90's. Listen to her music. She reveals clues in her songs. "She's not me" is about Madonna the real Madonna from the grave trying to convince the world that the imposter is not her. There are other clues in her music that suggest that she died in the early 90's.
She did a great job fooling the world though! The look-a-like and sound a-like was sent in to replace the real Madonna. Madonna was making so much money in the 80's and early 90's that after she died in the early 90's the MUSIC INDUSTRY replaced her with a look-a-like for their own monetary gain! The imposter has been leaving clues in her music ever since. So even if the imposter died, the INDUSTRY would replace her and no one would know. They would continue to buy her music and profit from FADONNA'S music as if no one died.
