A quake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale struck about 35 miles off the coast of California earlier today and officials said the effects could be felt in Humboldt County. The last tremor to shake the area was on January 9th, reportedly causing “$40 million” in damage and that probably didn’t include the weed farms.
