Artist Miru Kim is known as the merry explorer of abandoned and decrepit urban crevices: catacombs, shipyards, sewers, rooftops and tunnels. Kim takes the fearless and potentially unhygienic route to humanizing real spaces as post-Apocalyptic adventure-lands. The photographer has glinted with her nude frame around the hidden parts of Seoul, New York, Paris, Berlin, Philadelphia, Montreal and London. Recently, Kim has added to her repertoire by prowling around Istanbul over the last month. “Naked City Spleen Instanbul” opens next week.

Miru's work is daring and unique. Nice choice to write about her!
Going to Istanbul this week & will definitely check it out. The exhibit got a front page shout in the weekly arts section of Turkey's "Hurriet." Here's a shot of the English version: http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/9334/img0467j.jp…
